Description

Roff Vitrofix Ultra Adhesive is a highly polymer-modified adhesive used for tile fixing. This product is one of the best adhesives for ceramic, semi-vitreous, vitrified tiles, and natural stones. It can be applied on internal surfaces, for vertical and horizontal applications. It is important to note that Roff Vitrofix Ultra Adhesive can only be used on floors in external areas.

Application Area

• Material to be Fixed: Roff Vitrofix Ultra Adhesive can be used on all kinds of ceramic tile, terracotta, pavers, brick, vitrified tiles, large format tiles, precast terrazzo, natural stones, and low-thickness slabs.
• On Surface/Substrate: It acts as a bonding agent and is applied to cement-based screeds and beds, gypsum and cement-based plasters and renders, concrete surfaces and bricks, existing tiles and stones, waterproofing products, and other cement-based surfaces.
• Area of Application: The area of application of Roff Vitrofix Ultra Adhesive includes wet as well as dry surfaces in outdoor and indoor spaces. The product can be used in domestic and commercial projects on horizontal and vertical surfaces for fixing tiles.

Things to Consider

• The surface on which the adhesive is to be applied must be level, undamaged, compact, rigid, resistant, and free from any debonding agent. It ensures proper adhesive contact.
• It is important to dampen any dry surface prior to mixture application.
• Any new concrete should be properly damped and left for at least 28 days before applying the adhesive. This minimises shrinkage on the application surface.
• The expansion joints should be filled with a suitable product before the application of adhesive.
• The tiles should be fixed within half an hour of adhesive application, depending on the surface porosity and atmospheric conditions.
